A miniature Crosshead was developed to fulfill the requirements for small products. By exchanging the cartridge, its modular design allows to work as single layer, foam-skin, skin-foam or skin-foam-skin Crosshead. It accepts standard 4/6 extrusion dies with miniature tip inserts. Unique to the Crosshead is its low melt volume to minimize material scrap.
The design of the Crosshead and the Distributor provides highest product quality with highest output. The verified design concept allows a homogeneous material flow and high centricity. Small Crosshead volume for quick and flexible product change. Easy handling is guaranteed.
