Rosendahl's unique SZ Stranding Technology (SSZ) is designed to manufacture fiber optic cables for a wide range of indoor and outdoor applications with a flexible layout. Stranding can be done either as stand-alone process or tandemized with the sheathing process.

High production speed, long batches, reduced set-ups and down time  enhances the productivity of the SZ Stranding process to a new level. Advanced new technical solutions, such as the torsion shaft and the lay-plate SZ Stranding machines DTSZ 45 and SSZ 60, dual cross binders GSZ 290 V/R with an adequate line control system, enable a controlled stranding process in all circumstances with low stranding tension fluctuation, accurate and stable lay length and constant binding tension.

The stranding technology supports both - the stranding of jelly filled as well as complete dry cable designs.
